  About Simon Hall:

To increase research space at IU, continue to attract the best students and researchers, and bolster the state's economy with biotechnology and medical developments, IU built a multidisciplinary science building, Simon Hall, dedicated on October 16, 2007.

The building is configured to facilitate collaboration between scientists in the life sciences, physics, and mathematics. Strategically located between Myers Hall and the Chemistry Building, Simon Hall is devoted entirely to scientific research. The Linda and Jack Gill Center for Biomolecular Science (GCBS), the Johnson Center for Entrepreneurship & Science Innovations, and scientists in biochemistry and proteomics (the study of proteins in cells and tissues) occupy the building.
