Futures in Biology, Spring 2008 Schedule

INTERNSHIP FAIR

HEALTHCARE CAREERS, PART TWO - Exploring your Career Options

If you're interested in a career in healthcare, don't miss this session! There are nearly endless possibilities when it comes to finding a career in the healthcare professions that's right for you.

This semester, we will have a variety of area healthcare professionals discuss their career paths so you can learn more about what options might be available to you. Our speakers will include a Human Resources representative from Bloomington Hospital, a radiologist, and others in the healthcare profession.

INDIANA EMPLOYER CAREER FAIR

Event: Wednesday, February 13th - 12:00-4:00 pm

This event includes employers who want to hire in the state of Indiana. Employers will advertise full-time positions or internships in Indiana to market those positions to students who want to live and work in Indiana. HOW TO START A START-UP - The Process behind Start-Ups and Entrepreneurship

What does it take to start a start-up company? How does a good idea or invention move to development and production? Hear about the business side of the life sciences and start-up companies. A venture capitalist and a licenser and contract writer will discuss their responsibilities, while a leader from a local scientific start-up company will describe the challenges and benefits of starting a new company.
